Round, beige, film-coated tablet imprinted with “277” on one side.
This active ingredient is dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (also known as DPP-4) inhibitor, which ultimately reduces blood sugar in Type II Diabetes. (also known as Adult Diabetes)

Product stabilizes blood sugar levels in patients with Diabetes II.
It prevents blood-sugar levels to drop dangerously low during usage.
Increases insulin levels in the body after eating and it reduces the amount of sugar made in the body.
Side Effects:
Gastrointestinal problems for example constipation or diarrhea.
Low blood sugar (also known as hypoglycaemia); it may cause with the usage of other anti-diabetic medicines. But use of a lower dose of sulfonylurea or insulin is appropriate to reduce the risk of hypoglycaemia.
Vomiting as a result of nausea.
Stomach and intestinal gas.
Increased chance of headaches.
Nasal issues.
Joint or muscle pains.

Tips:
You can use this medicine alone or in combination with other medicines that lower blood sugar (for example sulfonylurea, insulin, glitazones, metformin) and in combination with a diet and exercise program.
You can take the tablets on an empty stomach or you can take them with food.
JANUVIA is not allowed for children under 18 years old.
JANUVIA can cause interactions with the combination of these active substance probenecid; aspirin or other salicylates, beta-blockers, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (also known as NSAIDs), monoamine oxidase inhibitors (also known as MAOIs), digoxin or sulpha drugs.
Prevent use of this drug while you have any kidney or liver problem.
