KREON 10000 / 150 MG./ 100 CAP.

Product contains 10000 Ph. Eur. U. of lipase, 8000 Ph. Eur. U. of amylase and also 600 Ph. Eur. U. of protease.

These substances are equivalent to 150 mg of pancreatin.

Product is a hard gelatin capsule with a colorless body and an opaque orange cap, containing light brown minimicrospheres resistant to gastric acid.

Therapeutic properties:

KREON capsules contain a mixture of natural enzymes that are used to digest nutrients.

Side Effects:

Gastrointestinal problems for example diarrhea or constipation.

Vomiting as a result of nausea.

Swelling.

Hives.

Dosage:

The starting dose is one or two capsules with each meal.

And also; if dose escalation is necessary, it especially should be done slowly, with careful monitoring of the patient’s response and complaints.

Tips:

Always take KREON at the same time with the main meals and snacks.

Do not take KREON, if you have an allergy to pig or pig products.
