Product contains 30 IU of Insulin Aspart and 70 IU of Insulin Aspart Protamine.

Novomix is a fast-acting and medium acting modern human insulin.

It is indicated for specifically the treatment of diabetes mellitus in adults, adolescents and children aged 1 year and older.

Novomix will begin to lower your blood sugar 10-20 minutes after injection, with the greatest effect being seen between 1-4 hours after injection.

Product effect will last up to 24 hours.

Please remember to stir before use. Do not use insulin if it does not appear homogeneously white, turbid and watery after stirring.

You should be using it just before a meal or with a meal.

Transferring patients to a new type or brand of insulin should be done under especially the supervision of a physician/doctor.

You must change the needle for each injection.

You must remove any air bubbles by tapping the bulb before use.

Keep the needle under the skin for at least 10 seconds.

You have to inject insulin into the subcutaneous fat layer. Some injection areas; abdomen, above the thigh, upper leg.

Side effects of insulin aspart:

Hypoglycemia.

Edema.

Refraction of the eye.

Redness, swelling, itching at the injection site but these reactions are usually temporary.
