Product contains 1 mg of Anastrozole.

This active ingredient is an aromatase inhibitor.

White, round, unscored biconvex film-coated tablet debossed with “A1” on one side.

Therapeutic properties of Santra:

Product prevents the effects of aromatase which is an enzyme found in the body.

This is used in the treatment of early-stage breast cancer in hormone-receptor positive or treatment of advanced breast cancer in postmenopausal women.

Side Effects of Santra:

Headache.

Allergic reactions for example skin rash.

Muscle and joint pain.

Hot flashes as a result of the pituitary gland’s response to decreased estrogen.

Vomitting as a result of nausea.

Hair thinning also known as alopecia.

Asthenia for example weakness, dizziness.

Osteoporosis or arthritis.

Dosage of Santra:

Recommended dose: 1 tablet/day

It is recommended to continue treatment for especially 5 years in early stage breast cancer.

Please consult especially your doctor for the best dosage.

Caution:

You have severe renal insufficiency, medium level liver insufficiency in this case you can’t take this product.

You mustn’t take the product, if you are taking tamoxifen or estrogen-containing medication. Because these will eliminate the pharmacological effect of product.

It contains lactose.
