Tablet contains 20 mg of Lisinopril.

Tablet is white, round and bisect.

Therapeutic properties :

Product is used in the treatment of hypertension, congestive heart failure and acute myocardial infarction. Also it is used in treatment of renal disease in hypertensive patients with type 2 diabetes and new-onset nephropathy.

Side Effects :

Headache.

Vomiting as a result of nausea.

Hypotension.

Diarrhea.

Muscle cramps and also edema as a result of renal dysfunction.

Dizziness, fatigue also known as asthenia because of orthostatic hypotension.

Posology :

The usual dose in patients receiving diuretic therapy: 5 mg/day.

Recommended starting dose in patients with hypertension: 10 mg/day.

The usual effective maintenance dose in patients with hypertension: 20 mg/day.

If the desired therapeutic effect is not achieved over a period of 2 to 4 weeks at a given dose level as a result of that the doctor may increase yout daily dose.

Tips :

If you have kidney failure, you should be careful while using it.

You can use this product on an empty or on a full stomach.

Lisinopril can be used as monotherapy but it can be used in combination with other classes of antihypertensive products.

Tablet contains lactose. You should know this if you have lactose intolerance.
